Meet Dr. Oleksii Makarin
Dr. Makarin earned his Dentistry degree from Kyiv’s National Medical University in Ukraine.
After earning his degree, he pursued and completed specialized postgraduate studies in Prosthodontics.
Because of his passion for prosthetic dentistry, Dr. Makarin spent five years working as a dental technologist.
Alongside his dental career, he successfully completed Conestoga College’s Paramedic Program in Kitchener with Distinction and served as a paramedic in Ontario for a number of years.
Dr. Makarin stays current by attending continuing education courses and maintains memberships with various professional groups, including the Ontario Dental Association.
Dr. Makarin enjoys delivering a full range of general dentistry services and always strives to make his patients’ dental experience comfortable and enjoyable.
When he’s away from patient care, he loves being with his family and keeps an active lifestyle.
