Get To Know Dr. Oleksii Makarin
Dr. Makarin graduated with a dental degree from National Medical University in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Soon after graduating, he undertook and completed postgraduate Prosthodontics training.
Because of his passion for prosthetic dentistry, Dr. Makarin worked as a dental technologist for five years.
As well, he completed the Paramedic Program with Distinction at Conestoga College in Kitchener and worked as a paramedic across Ontario for several years.
Dr. Makarin stays current by attending continuing education courses and maintains memberships with various professional groups, including the Ontario Dental Association.
Dr. Makarin practices all areas of general dentistry with enthusiasm and focuses on making each visit relaxed and enjoyable.
When he’s away from patient care, he values meaningful family time and embraces an active way of life.
