Get To Know Dr. Oleksii Makarin
Dr. Makarin completed his dental education at the National Medical University in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Not long after completing his degree, he completed advanced postgraduate training in Prosthodontics.
Driven by a strong interest in prosthetic dentistry, Dr. Makarin served as a dental technologist for 5 years.
At the same time, he graduated with Distinction from the Paramedic Program at Conestoga College, Kitchener and went on to work as a paramedic in Ontario for several years.
Dr. Makarin remains dedicated to lifelong learning through continuing education and holds membership in several professional associations such as the Ontario Dental Association.
Dr. Makarin enjoys practicing all aspects of general dentistry and focuses on making each visit relaxed and enjoyable.
Outside of the dental office, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and keeps an active lifestyle.
