Dr. Makarin earned his professional dental degree from National Medical University in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Shortly afterward, he successfully finished advanced postgraduate training in Prosthodontics.
Driven by a strong interest in prosthetic dentistry, Dr. Makarin served as a dental technologist for 5 years.
At the same time, he completed the Paramedic Program with Distinction at Conestoga College in Kitchener and spent several years working as an Ontario paramedic.
Dr. Makarin is committed to ongoing professional development through continuing education and holds membership in several professional associations such as the Ontario Dental Association.
Dr. Makarin enjoys practicing all aspects of general dentistry and is dedicated to ensuring every patient enjoys a comfortable dental experience.
