Get To Know Dr. Oleksii Makarin
Dr. Makarin received his Dentistry degree from National Medical University located in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Soon after graduating, he undertook and completed postgraduate Prosthodontics training.
Driven by a strong interest in prosthetic dentistry, Dr. Makarin dedicated five years to working as a dental technologist.
Beyond dentistry, he graduated with Distinction from the Paramedic Program at Conestoga College, Kitchener and served as a paramedic in Ontario for a number of years.
Dr. Makarin stays current by attending continuing education courses and belongs to multiple professional organizations, including the Ontario Dental Association.
Dr. Makarin practices all areas of general dentistry with enthusiasm and always strives to make his patients’ dental experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Outside of the dental office, he values meaningful family time and maintains an active lifestyle.
