Meet Dr. Oleksii Makarin
Dr. Makarin completed his degree in Dentistry at the National Medical University in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Following his graduation, he successfully finished specialized postgraduate studies in Prosthodontics.
With a particular interest in prosthetic dentistry, Dr. Makarin worked as a dental technologist for five years.
Alongside his dental career, he completed Conestoga College’s Kitchener-based Paramedic Program with Distinction and spent several years working as an Ontario paramedic.
Dr. Makarin continually participates in continuing education courses and is actively involved in professional associations including the Ontario Dental Association.
Dr. Makarin is passionate about all facets of general dentistry and works hard to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for every patient.
When he’s away from patient care, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and embraces an active way of life.
