Get To Know Dr. Oleksii Makarin
Dr. Makarin earned his professional dental degree from the National Medical University in Kyiv.
After earning his degree, he undertook and completed specialized postgraduate studies in Prosthodontics.
Motivated by his focus on prosthetic dentistry, Dr. Makarin served as a dental technologist for 5 years.
Beyond dentistry, he completed the Paramedic Program with Distinction at Conestoga College in Kitchener and served as a paramedic in Ontario for a number of years.
Dr. Makarin is committed to ongoing professional development through continuing education and belongs to multiple professional organizations, including the Ontario Dental Association.
Dr. Makarin is passionate about all facets of general dentistry and always strives to make his patients’ dental experience pleasant and stress-free.
When Dr. Makarin is not helping people with their dental needs, he loves being with his family and keeps an active lifestyle.
