Get To Know Dr. Oleksii Makarin
Dr. Makarin completed his degree in Dentistry at the National Medical University in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Not long after completing his degree, he undertook and completed postgraduate training in Prosthodontics.
Driven by a strong interest in prosthetic dentistry, Dr. Makarin spent five years working as a dental technologist.
Beyond dentistry, he completed the Paramedic Program with Distinction at Conestoga College in Kitchener and went on to work as a paramedic in Ontario for several years.
Dr. Makarin regularly participates in continuing education courses and is a member of several professional associations, including the Ontario Dental Association.
Dr. Makarin takes pride in providing comprehensive general dentistry care and always strives to make his patients’ dental experience comfortable, positive, and enjoyable.
When Dr. Makarin is not helping people with their dental needs, he prioritizes time with loved ones and embraces an active way of life.
