Get To Know Dr. Oleksii Makarin
Dr. Makarin received his formal dental training at National Medical University in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Soon after graduating, he pursued and completed postgraduate training in Prosthodontics.
Motivated by his focus on prosthetic dentistry, Dr. Makarin spent five years working as a dental technologist.
At the same time, he completed the Paramedic Program with Distinction at Conestoga College in Kitchener and went on to work as a paramedic in Ontario for several years.
Dr. Makarin is committed to ongoing professional development through continuing education and is actively involved in professional associations including the Ontario Dental Association.
Dr. Makarin practices all areas of general dentistry with enthusiasm and always strives to make his patients’ dental experience pleasant and stress-free.
When he’s not treating patients, he loves being with his family and embraces an active way of life.
