Dr. Makarin obtained his dental degree from National Medical University located in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Not long after completing his degree, he undertook and completed formal postgraduate training in Prosthodontics.
Driven by a strong interest in prosthetic dentistry, Dr. Makarin served as a dental technologist for 5 years.
Beyond dentistry, he earned Distinction in the Paramedic Program at Conestoga College in Kitchener and spent several years working as an Ontario paramedic.
Dr. Makarin continually participates in continuing education courses and maintains memberships with various professional groups, including the Ontario Dental Association.
Dr. Makarin is passionate about all facets of general dentistry and is dedicated to ensuring every patient enjoys a comfortable dental experience.
When he’s not treating patients, he loves being with his family and enjoys staying physically active.
