Get To Know Dr. Oleksii Makarin
Dr. Makarin completed his degree in Dentistry at the National Medical University in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Following his graduation, he undertook and completed formal postgraduate training in Prosthodontics.
Because of his passion for prosthetic dentistry, Dr. Makarin served as a dental technologist for 5 years.
At the same time, he completed Conestoga College’s Kitchener-based Paramedic Program with Distinction and spent several years working as an Ontario paramedic.
Dr. Makarin stays current by attending continuing education courses and maintains memberships with various professional groups, including the Ontario Dental Association.
Dr. Makarin takes pride in providing comprehensive general dentistry care and always strives to make his patients’ dental experience relaxed and positive.
When he’s away from patient care, he prioritizes time with loved ones and embraces an active way of life.
