Get To Know Dr. Oleksii Makarin
Dr. Makarin received his formal dental training at Kyiv National Medical University.
Not long after completing his degree, he completed postgraduate training in Prosthodontics.
Motivated by his focus on prosthetic dentistry, Dr. Makarin worked as a dental technologist for five years.
Alongside his dental career, he earned Distinction in the Paramedic Program at Conestoga College in Kitchener and went on to work as a paramedic in Ontario for several years.
Dr. Makarin stays current by attending continuing education courses and is a member of several professional associations, including the Ontario Dental Association.
Dr. Makarin is passionate about all facets of general dentistry and always strives to make his patients’ dental experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
When he’s away from patient care, he loves being with his family and embraces an active way of life.
