Meet Dr. Oleksii Makarin
Dr. Makarin received his dental degree from National Medical University in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Not long after completing his degree, he successfully finished advanced postgraduate training in Prosthodontics.
Motivated by his focus on prosthetic dentistry, Dr. Makarin served as a dental technologist for 5 years.
At the same time, he completed Conestoga College’s Kitchener-based Paramedic Program with Distinction and went on to work as a paramedic in Ontario for several years.
Dr. Makarin is committed to ongoing professional development through continuing education and is actively involved in professional associations including the Ontario Dental Association.
Dr. Makarin is passionate about all facets of general dentistry and works hard to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for every patient.
When Dr. Makarin is not helping people with their dental needs, he prioritizes time with loved ones and enjoys staying physically active.
